Emily had the perfect of lots of fun and lots of work. Sometimes she was with us and sometimes she was not. She posted each week on an instagram story what she was up to...
She worked at Slackers again. By the end of the summer she was so done with this job, Bentley had quit and the rest of her friends from last year no longer worked so it wasn't as fun. At one time called me saying can I come home now. My response "its your choice. You can stick it out 4+ more days and make $700 or you can come home and make $0." I really didn't care either way. She decided she could last and came home and used that last weeks pay to buy herself an IPAD for school.
The 2nd week of June she went to FSY at BYU with Jane but in a different group. She made lots of friends and enjoyed it. She made a lot of friends there and she thought that it strengthened her testimony.
She participated with the Torrey Chamber's music. It was fun to watch her perform on zoom!
She was able to be a stake YCL for stake girls. She got lots of Monster University loot and worked hard to make girls camp great for everyone!
Henry's family invited lots of their kids friends to come on a Houseboat trip to Lake Powell. It was her favorite part of the summer! She got to go tubing every single day but didn't have to deal with the unbearable heat because she could go in the air conditioned house boat.
