The things she does

I get the biggest kick out of Jane. Here are a few of the things I find hilarious

* Rarely does Emily wake up before Jane. In the mornings Jane will be in her crib at the top of her lungs laughing, singing, talking and then she will shouting mama over and over when she is ready to get up for the day. When I come in the room Jane will see me and immediately put her finger to her lips, point to Emily sound asleep and say "shhh" letting me know to be quiet because Emily is asleep.

* Jane loves to shoot people this huge happy to see you grin when we are in public and stop them in their tracks. She's really good at this when I am at a checkout stand. I'll be busy fiddling with my purse, wallet, credit card and not notice that she has started up a "conversation" with her big blue eyes and smile. It usually takes until I've swiped my card and the machine will say "Ask cashier to press credit" that I'll notice the cashier is not focusing on checking me out but is laughing and talking to Jane. After the bags are loaded into the grocery cart Jane will smile, wave and say bye bye like they are lifelong friends.

*Jane gets the biggest kick out of the smallest things. If my girls have been good listeners they get to listen to "ducky" songs in the car i.e. kid songs on a couple of CDs that can drive me crazy if I listen to them to long. Whenever I turn on these songs Jane lets out a shriek of delight with some whole body kicks and shakes her arms as if dancing right along with the music. She especially loves and giggles through the entire song of "I like to eat apples and bananas"

*Jane has a favorite book called "Time for Bed". In it the kids keep getting out of bed to play and the dad comes and it reads "No says dad, time for Bed". Whenever we are on the pages with the dad Jane takes over and shakes her finger and says exactly No No na Dad. She loves being able to read those pages.

*Jane can get so mad to the point of being inconsolable. I know I shouldn't find that funny but the way she will get so frustrated and throw herself on the ground and kick and not want anyone to touch her is quite something. I sometimes have a hard time holding back the laughter especially when it's over something like her doll's stroller wheel getting stuck in the kitchen chair.

*Jane has an amazing attention span for getting her shoes on. She will push and twist her feet and shoes so many ways until she gets her shoes on. She'll then come running to show me with such pride in her face like she just accomplished the most mighty of all tasks.

A Wedding Story Part II- Suzanne and Seth

We had a most fabulous day celebrating with Suzanne and Seth. The temple ceremony was beautiful and the couple looked so happy. After we took a few pictures around the temple we all jumped on Trax and headed to the Gateway for a yummy luncheon at Biaggi's. The reception was fabulous as the Richard's backyard was transformed into an amazing garden reception area. JB's pulled pork sandwiches were yummy as ever and I loved that Suzanne had a Marzipan Cake, her favorite, for her wedding cake. Everything was absolutely perfect, but that's what I've come to expect from Suzanne is perfection in everything she does.

I get a little help from my friends

Bart caught the Autograph Virus and "came out of retirement" to chase Paul McCartney. This time he "got a little help from his friends" namely enlisting his family. He even got his dad to come out for the first time ever. Despite a little run in from an obnoxious and power hungry security guard, Bart's dad and sister Suzanne were 2 of the 20 that were picked to get Paul's autograph.

These ones are not for sale they are keepers for Bart! Maybe someday you'll see them hanging on the wall of my house. That is if Bart will ever display his treasures.

Who can help?

What does Emily do after she just ate 5 (yes five) pieces of corn?

She asks her Uncle Joe for help.

Thanks Joe your quite the guy to be willing to come to Emily's rescue and thanks Sarah for capturing it on film.
