Independence Day

Jane and I are loving her new found independence. She's daily becoming more proficient at crawling and loves to pull herself up on things. The first thing she pulled herself up on was the couch. After a lot of pulling she finally made it up. She gave me the biggest smile of satisfaction. She was so excited she did her excited dance and completely let go and fell down flat on her back. Her smile was replaced by a wail of shock from her first lesson on gravity. At least for now she only pulls herself up on things that aren't more than 5-6 inches tall. I think she feels safer closer to the ground.
