The kids got to show off all their new skills at swim lessons today. Aaron is now a proficient swimmer and high dive jumper. Spencer will now confidently put his head under water and not scream bloody murder when he is fully immersed. He did however make his decision loud and clear at the top of the slide that he did not want to go down. I made him do it anyway! Everyone needs a little push now and then right? He wasn't a fan.
Afterwards we celebrated with Jane's specialty snow cones.
Aaron then went with Allyson up the dedication of the Bicknell Pioneer/Veteran monument where he enjoyed watching some "dignitaries" fly in on some military choppers and land on my Grandpa Morrell's field.
Later that night we all enjoyed the sparklers we've been carrying around all summer and finally remembered they were in the car.
