Teasdale Weekly fun: Calf Creek Monday

I love to be with my family and I love to be in Teasdale.  This past week I got to experience both.    Monday we started our day out the week long swimming lessons for Aaron and Spencer and the other cousins their same age.    How blessed Wayne County is in the green with no covid cases cause pools and swim lessons around my house aren't happening.

After swim lessons we loaded up a picnic and headed up Boulder about 45 minutes and hiked upper calf creek falls.    Although it was steep 500 feet descend down to the falls it was only a mile down and a mile back so the lungs didn't burn too long.    The kids had so much fun sliding, swimming and cliff jumping.

Later that evening the adults celebrated my mom's birthday at the Rim Rock.  (The restaurant I had my wedding reception).   My sister Brooke has been waitressing weekends there and the boss treated us to free appetizers like smoked trout and a yummy coconut cake for dessert.    I love the atmosphere of this place and the yummy steak.  I think this should become a yearly tradition.
