The kids and I always like to go to Teasdale for UEA. This year it fell on the weekend of the big roundup where the cowboys are bringing the cows off the mountain. It made it a fun weekend because with all the grandsons being old enough to take part a lot of the family was around. My girls liked the horse rides and tromping around in the dirt and hills with their cousins. There was also a new puppy across the field at the milk barn. The girls ran back and forth happily until all the cows came home and oh what memories it brought back to see 4 hesitant girls afraid of all the cows but really wanting to play with the puppy. They were brave though and made it through just fine!

| Aaron was happy until he realized his momma wasn't coming on the horse too. |
Wayne County was also having a Scarecrow festival with many of the small businesses. One afternoon we took off with a list and stopped by to see most of the scarecrows.
Jane's favorite was this "Greece Monkey" and Emily really liked a scarecrow that was on a toilet but my phone battery had died and we couldn't take a picture but her second favorite was the jailbird at the courthouse.
