Amen

Whenever it is time to say a prayer and Bart asks "Who's turn is it?" Emily usually responds with "Not mine I did it yesterday" meanwhile Jane ever so quietly will immediately fold her arms and say ab dub dub dub dub dub as her own little prayer. Here Jane is doing it with a little prompting. At the end she says Amen. I think it is so cute!

hahaha o my gosh she is so cute and her little scowl ha and whats cute is the second you say prayer she will smile ahhh you raised her right ahh so cute and love her hair kind of reminds me of my self in vidoes and pics so cute.... ya i will say it maybe i will have another baby in the long future to see if i can have a girl so is so cute.

E: (making muffins for her farewell with her friend Alix. She started scooping sour cream into a measuring cup). I hate sour cream scooping sour cream so bad. A: Girl Bus drivers can be mean but there is only 2 ways a woman bus driver can be. A week after he had is reward). Mom can I stay in my bed for a week and earn another reward? M: No because you don't have a hard time staying in your room anymore. S: Yes I do I wake up every night scared and want to come down to your room but then I tell myself to toughen up ( Aug. 2022) M: (in california driving Ally's 3 youngest and Spencer driving to a science camp that Hazel attended the year before) Hazel: I think you guys will be making slime. Clara: My mom really hates slime. S: Momma you hate slim to don't you. M: Yeah it can ruin things like carpet really easy. Hazel: Yeah well my mom hates it so much that anytime we bring some home from school or someplace she immediately throws it in the garbage. S: Wow your mom must.... M: that's cool (thinking its the signs they teach them to help remember the words) B: (during the primary program songs Spencer in all of his glory was following along with the chorister, Bart leans over). What is he doing? M: Leading the music. Spencer's just being Spencer (afterwards the couple in charge of the sacrament music came up and said Spencer is so adorable leading the music. Who taught him how because he was right on beat) (Nov 2021) S: (singing I am a Child of God and got to the part that says 'and so my needs are great). And so my knees are grey (October 2021) E: Oh fork M: Emily your mouth. E: Mom I don't swear I utensil. (Sept 2021) A: (feeling sad and anxious in sacrament meeting about his pending talk in primary). Mom could you have another baby so I can cuddle it. M: Sorry I'm too old to have more babies. A: Well then can't you adopt one? M: No our family is complete but you can always cuddle all the new cousins. A: (big sigh). OK but I just wish one was ours(Aug 2021) S: (after the tooth fairy came and doubled his reward for letting Bart pull out both lower teeth). Man if the next time the tooth fairy comes and I only get coins I'm for sure not letting dad pull anymore teeth. Just not worth it for that (Aug 2021) G Dick: (after hearing G Becky read a facebook post from the farm Bureau about fasting/prayer for the drought). Well I'm going to start praying for wind because the more I pray for rain all I get it wind. Maybe if I pray for wind the rain will come. (May 2021) S: Mom how do you like the rainbow flowers I gave you for mother's day?

M: I love them they are the best

S: Well I really wanted to give you the pink flowers but dad said they are poisonous.

M: (in my head. Ha ha I bet Bart's poisonous means too expensive). (May 2021)

M: (Aaron wears the same couple of hoodies every day to school. Often Emily points it out to Aaron warning him not to be the kid who is always wearing the same hoodie. As Aaron came out for church one day wearing the same white shirt he's worn for the past 3 months I comment). Aaron why don't you wear another one of your church shirts. You have more in your closet?

E: Yeah Aaron do you want to be that kid always wearing the same thing?

A: I already am THAT kid(February 2021)

S: (trying to solve that there is only 3 airheads and 4 kids problem). I have an idea. Aaron you can give Emily a little bit of your arrow head and Jane you can give Emily a little bit of your arrow head. That's a good solution.

M: What about you can you share some of your airhead?

S: But I want all of mine (January 2021)

S: (Bart and I arrived home from a date). Mom your home. How was your wedding?

M: It was a date not a wedding Spencer

S: (after hearing that Bart and I are going on a date). But mom if you and dad are on a date there won't be any parents around for me to talk to all day (January 2021)

S: (wrapped up a gift me for all by himself, wrote M O M on it and handed it to me Christmas morning.)

S: Beamed with pride.

M: (opened it and saw an empty roll of tape).

M: (coughing after choking on some water in the car)

J: Oh mom you've got to stop coughing or people will think you have covid.

M: It's not like you can just make yourself not cough.

J: (coming down the stair the night after Zoey arrived and she saw that Zoey hadn't moved. She walked by me shaking her head). Mom what will the kids think?

S: (looking at his plate of unappetizing dinner). Mom you know how after I poop some of it is in my underwear and then my bum starts to itch.

M: Yeah

S: Well eating makes you poop so I'm not going to each anymore and then I won't poop and have an itchy bum.

M: I think dad could drive it but it cost too much money.

G. Becky: Have you seen Spencer kick? I've never seen a 2 year old who can kick over his head. It's amazing. I hope I live long enough to watch him play professional soccer.

M: (later talking to Bart) so Aaron thinks your the super fan?

That's bolony! Who's the one who watches the movies with him over and over again, puts the puzzles and legos together with him and talks about it with him all the time. Me that's who and you get the honor of superfan?

E: (Our Elf was discovered on the floor with Aaron as the culprit being the one who drug her around and left her in the middle of the floor. Emily was very distraught upon finding this Elf knowing that because she was touched she probably wouldn't be able to make it back to the North Pole). I just don't know what we are going to do about the Elf. It's not going to be able to go back to the North Pole again because it's in the middle of the floor and it will keep getting touched. (thinking) What can we do? I hate this but I think the only thing that can be done is to get rid of Aaron so the Elf won't be touched and can move again(Dec 2013)

J: (Emily found an old small stocking with her name on it so she put it next to her other one on the mantel. Jane noticed it a day or so later and said) Mom we have 2 Emily stockings and we need to take this one off.
