Our Outlaw

We have a bank robber in the house.  Yes my Aaron is a full blown bank robber.  He goes around searching for coin purses, piggy banks or anything containing coins.  His preference is little pennies, not big pennies (i.e. quarters).     Once found he stashes them in his pocket or a zip lock bag or other small container he can find.  His favorite lately is a small velvet bag that came with earphones.   Seriously all day long he moves around the house first dumping his loot out of this pocket getting down on his belly where he can be up close and then he stacks, rearranges, plays with and then finally puts them back in his bag and moves to another location to do the same.

Emily who has the fullest piggy bank is furious whenever she finds him playing with all her pennies.   Oh the battle as she tries to recover her lost treasure.  I'm trying to teach her the best defense from bank robbers is to lock either her bedroom or her piggy bank and hide the key.   She continues to be careless with her money and the outlaw of our house takes full advantage of that.

After to long of playing the cop I finally gave Emily a dollar  said it's all yours if you count out 100 pennies and give them to Aaron.  Bill Cosby said it right, "It's not about justice in a house it's all about peace"

  1. Oh man - I feel your pain!! Ella is forever forgetting to lock her door and therefore forever yelling at Griffin. But it's usually about broken Lego creations instead of money. Kids!
