Happy Halloween

Emily read the book Pippi Longstocking and became obsessed with the movie mid summer. (Warning a movie I loved as a kid is very painful to watch as an adult.  You'll be singing "Pippi Longstocking is coming into your world" for days afterward).  It was then that she made up her mind  that she wanted to be Pippy Longstocking.  Maybe some year Emily will want to be something that we can just go to Old Navy and buy a costume.  So Pippy she was...

Her creativity paid off because she won a best costume award at our ward party.

Jane saw this angel costume online and wanted it.  When we got it she became very wishy washy about being an angel and then decided to turn it into the tooth fairy.  She thought up the teeth bag and money belt all on her own

Cutest toothless tooth fairy around

Aaron started out the week going to a couple preschool and friend costume parties as a Fireman.  But his hat kept falling off and his fireman coat didn't seem very warm.  I dug out the chicken costume at the last minute and he was in love.  Everyone was in love with this cute chicken.  He was really good at sounding like one too.

Emily's friend Grace came along for trick or treating. Then they went around Grace's neighborhood  The more the merrier. (candy that is according to Emily).  (She is definitely Bart's daughter)

I am one lucky lady to have these cuties for my kids!!
