Wickedly Fun

My girls and I along with my mom flew out to for a weekend in California to see the Broadway Musical "Wicked"    It was much cheaper to fly into Palm Springs and Ally was up for picking us up and spending the day at their outlets.  (what us Pace girls do best).

We headed back to Carlsbad and enjoyed some time with Ally's family.  The next morning we spent an hour or so walking along the board walk and sat for a while to feel the sand between our toes and good calming vibes of the ocean.

Soon we were off to Segerstorm Center in Costa Mesa to see Wicked.    The set, the voices, the acting all incredible.   Such a great show to be my girls first Broadway experience.

Thank you internet for good quality photos to keep the memories alive for years to come.

And just like a wave of a wand we were home in a flash with great memories to cherish forever.

Sweethearts sophomore year

Emily's weekend hang out group all went together to Alta's sweetheart dance.

The creativity began with this invitation to Henry Hohl from Emily.

A couple days later Henry texted Emily that he left the fish next to the sink and his sister accidentally tipped it over and went down the drain.  So in response this is how he responded.

The pre date started the night before where they all painted matching sweatshirts to wear to the all day date.  Emily's date Henry only wears flip flops even in the dead of winter so Emily conformed and worked some flip flops into the outfit.

That next morning they picked up the boys around 10 and made them crepes for breakfast then heading to All Stars for some Laser Tag.

Then they headed to the mall for an afternoon game of mall scavenger hunt.

After Emily decided to go to the dance she showed me a few pictures of some bright pink sequin short dresses.  I mentioned my sister Brooke had one like that which interested her retro fashion icon self.   Brooke brought the dress up.  It fit her like a glove and she was tickled pink "literally" to wear it.

Primping for the dance

Getting ready for a dance in a 90's dress wouldn't be complete without the right caboodle accessories

Pink became a thing and the boys were game to wear pink as well.    Alix's mom was scheduled into the date and took the most adorable photos.   I came along and had fun watching this group have fun with each other and the camera.  Such confidence with themselves!

After the pictures they made there way to dinner at HuHot Mongolian Grill

Then to the dance

Afterwards a stop at 7 eleven and a couple last pictures
