Emily jumped at the chance and rocked it as an employee. Most of the time she worked 10-11 hour shifts 6 days a week.
Look how cute my Emsabob is in her visor and Genius by birth slacker by choice shirt.
Emily made some friends at work and had a couple "summer crushes" along the way.
Her pictures also show a few shenanigans like this one of her picking apricots at work.
She saved tons of money but also splurged on a few things on her wish list that mom will never buy her. After her 3rd paycheck she rewarded herself with these airpod pros.
She also became an online deal shopper with some of her earnings. She came home excited to open her bed full of packages. Christmas in August it felt like to her.
The boss strongly suggested that they be on the float for the parade. Emily always makes the best of situations and put on her pizza costume and had a blast with Bentley and some work friends.
It was mostly just work but she had a lot of fun to. The Torrey ward kindly invited her to girls camp and she had a blast with them until the weather turns so bad all the tents were flooding and the came home a day early.
She also had some Viola lessons with Lindsey S. and attended the strings camp held at the end of her time there.
I think anyone raised in Teasdale can attest to the feeling of the connection to God when you are out spending time alone in his creations. I'm happy Emily took some time to experience this.
Emily liked it so much she asked me if she can stay for the school year. Sorry Em I'd miss you too bad you are my child and Grandma Becky said she's too old to parent a teenager.
